1. Turn on the water to the system
2. Check the backflow for leaks
3. Check the controller for current time and date
4. Verify the start time, active watering days, and run times for programs
5. Replace battery in controller, if required
6. Turn on each zone to verify operation of valves
7. Check heads for rotation, leaks, and spray patterns
8. Make minor adjustments to heads for proper coverage.
9. Check Rain Sensor operation
10. Visual check of property for leaks
11. Inform customer of status of system and any repairs
12. Set controller to run or off as per customer
